Anthony was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease that had progressed to end-stage renal disease. Under observation by his doctors, laboratory testing allowed his doctors to monitor his kidney disease and manage his symptoms. He learned he would need a kidney transplant. The transplant was successful and now Anthony is an advocate for laboratory testing as this testing continues to monitor his health and the health of his children today.
